-
Bows – suggest gift ideas,

-
Salt – salt is a great tool to
use for cleaning flower rings. Put
salt in paper bag and shake.
Place bags on chairs so each guest
gets at least one. If you
have less guests, give extras to some guests.
Go around the room and have each guest
introduce themselves and tell a little about them.
Have the guest try to figure out what the item in their bag could
mean. Give a tealight to each
person after they try, and be sure to explain it if they didn’t give a
full explanation.
After you’ve done all the bags, go
around the room again and ask each person to point out their favorite item
on your display. At the
second guest, pause and hand out a hostess brochure with the door prize
clipped to it, to each guest. Have
the brochure opened to the wish list section and be sure each guest has a
pen. Tell the group that you
want them to write out their wish list as you go through the items on the
table. When you’ve gone
around the room, fill out the door prize slip through #3.
Then stop. Place 6
tealights in a row on your display table and tell the guests that you are
going to give them an opportunity to get a tealight.
You want them to ask you a question related to your job.
Give a tealight to each guest who asks a question and stop after
the 6th question has been answered.
Hand out a You Can Have It All brochure with a special invitation
to the next meeting (unit workshop, opportunity meeting or regional).
Tell them that you would love to have them come and find out more
as your special guest. Then,
finish off door prize slip by asking for a referral for a booking AND a
sponsor for #4. Then, finish
with #5.
Close your demonstration with the
Tealight promise (this is optional, but powerful).
Hold up a tealight box filled with 12 different scents.
Explain to group that you have a tealight promise.
The promise is: “If I fail to offer you the opportunity tonight
to book a party or start your own business, you get the tealight sampler
FREE!” In order to be successful with this, you must be prepared
to ask each person to either book a party or to start their business.
Be prepared with hostess packets and opportunity packets.

Another great gift idea to use at
shows for games is a smaller Ziploc bag with You Can Have It All brochure,
Candle Care Card, tealight, and 10 most commonly asked questions about the
Company or Four Areas Of Income. Roll
up the info and put tealight in also.
When you give the gift say “You think the candle is the gift, but
the information is the real treasure.
Light the candle and read the information and I will follow up with
you in the next 24 hours." (credit for this idea goes to Julie Davis)
