Hello Mary? This is Fran Nichols the CandleLady.
How are you? Great, oh yes we're doing wonderful. Hey the
reason I called is because I have just received the elimination list for
this years catalog and on it was the Mosaic Bowl! I know it,
the mosaic is a beautiful line, however they have decided to retire the
bowl and I wanted to make sure you had a chance to get it before it's
gone. Soooooo, we can either schedule a show for you, which by the
way we have a wonderful promotion going on for not only the
consultant but for the hostesses too. If you schedule your show
between Nov 20th and Dec 5th your show will go into a drawing and we could
win either $2000 or $200. PL will draw 5 winners of $2000 and 150 of
$200. Wouldn't that be great at this time of year, plus you'd get to
do some holiday shopping with your hostess credit too. Does that
sound good to you?
If she says too busy: offer a catalog show.
If she's not interested in a catalog show then ask her
if she'd like to place an order for the bowl. If she does say yes to
ordering then mention that anything over $100 does count as a show
and so if she wanted to order anything else as gifts to reach $100 she
could or if she wanted to just share the catalog with a couple people to
get orders to $100 then she'd get 15% hostess credit out of it.
Use those dps or PartyTrak or whatever you're using to keep track of
favorite items. Start doing a search for all items on the list.
Do the above and you will get some orders or some shows I am sure----I
have :-)
Maybe the list wasn't supposed to post the info since it's up to each
individual SRVP to announce it in their own way, but rather than go back
and forth on the topic lets build that positive energy back up and build
our business with the knowledge that we have in advance.
For those in a slump that have been with PL awhile, then what better way
to get going than the above.
For those new in a slump----work on building and increasing the contact
list with past guests. Call a past guest and try to book them, if
that won't work for a show now then tell them if they will give you
referrals, when the show is held you'll give them a dozen votives.
Personal Bonus this and you've spent $5.45.
But I can tell you now-----if you don't get out of your
slump then you will possibly not make it in PL. I was there and quit
for 9 months, then it dawned on me that if I made this a business and not
a hobby that I could really make some good money and we could get a bigger
better place, so I booked 7 shows in Sept 2 years ago and then had 12 for
Oct and it just kept growing and growing and growing (Energizer Bunny:-)
Since then, for the last 2 years I have been a 12 month bonus earner and
number one in sales in my region.
It is a frame of mind and attitude. No one can
make anyone do anything---we have to challenge and stimulate ourselves to
get what we want for us. Suggestions are wonderful and can be very
encouraging, but unless we do something with what we're given we'll get
nowhere. I tell my sponsors, I will give you all the tools to grow
your beautiful garden and train you how to use the tools to your
advantage, but if they sit in the tool shed and rust it's not my fault.
